I do not consider myself an extremely religious person, but I find that God is the source of everything great and He's the source of everything great in me. In this world we live in we're force to adapt every second of the day. Whether it has to do with money, relationships, school, family, or work; we have to accept what we can't control and learn how to deal with it the best way possible. I'm guilty of being a worrier, someone who tends to over-analyze situations and over calculate every possible outcome. The most important lesson I've learned after coming overseas is to worry about the things you can control, and let God deal with the things you cannot control. There's no sense in wasting your time & energy on things what you have no power to change, alter, or influence. The time I spent clouding my mind with problems that I couldn't control, later distracted me from the great things that are in my life. I may have neglected friends, the court, and even my own happiness.
Stress is nothing more than a tight restraint. Restraining you from reaching your full potential. Restraining you from being happy. Restraining you from seeing the positive, despite a negative situation. And with this time I have overseas to reflect on where I've been and where I want to go, I want to reposition myself. I know it's not going to be easy, but I know its necessary if I want to be the woman I potential want to be. Don't let stress consume your life. What will be, will be. What is meant to be, will be. And for what is not meant to be, how bad that might hurt us, its in God's plan and He doesn't give us more than we can handle.
